ABC is moving Ugly Betty to Wednesdays, according to the Hollywood Reporter. And just in time… Ugly Betty has been struggling on Friday nights, losing viewers at a fast clip.

Since Eastwick was canceled, there’s a vacancy on the Wednesday night schedule, so Ugly Betty could air at 10 p.m., following Modern Family and Cougar Town.

The new timeslot would definitely help bump up the numbers a bit.

ABC has yet to announce the move to Wednesdays, so stay tuned.

UPDATE: ABC has confirmed that Ugly Betty will move to the Wednesday 10 p.m. timeslot beginning on January 6!
