ABC Family to Develop “10 Things I Hate About You” Series
Remember the 1999 movie “10 Things I Hate About You,” starring Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles? ABC Family has picked up a half-hour pilot for a series based on the film.
Gil Junger, who directed the “10 Things I Hate About You” movie, will direct the single-camera pilot – which revolves around two very different sisters starting in a new high school.
No word on who will be cast in the “10 Things I Hate About You” series.

i agree with hilal but not as strongly and i see esmee’s point as well. the movie is one of my favorites. i think that it would be cool if someone could create a good tv show based on a funny movie with a good story line. and it woould also be a good way to remember the great actor, heath ledger. but abc family tends to make shows with bad actors and that would be kind of sucky because then it would ruin the idea of the movie and make it a joke. so i hope that, for the movie’s sake, abc family will pull this one off.
