I just read about some of this stuff.)? That show sucked. Jack Barry, God rest his soul, was not very creative in the process of creating this show. And I can't believe NBC bought it. And that theme song, don't get me started on that. Stan Worth and Alan Thicke have written some great theme songs in their careers (RIP Stan Worth) but that theme song was a complete ripoff of the song Chump Change by the great master Quincy Jones(Chump Change was originally intended as the theme to Blank Check, but CBS' Now You See It was using the song.) Some people comment on Deal or no deal as being a rotten game show, however, it's fun to be cruel and watch people gamble and lose their money!!!! The rules to that game is pretty weird and confusing and as to the pace of the game.... pretty off-beat and lacks a good flow and pace, that makes a game show watchable.... I watch the first episode on YouTube and it wasn't impressive, when its just a match game rip-off with dice. What really sucks that the show was starred with Peter Marshall (a legend), and even he looked a bit uncomfortable.
