I loved most of the game shows that you have mentioned as being the worst! Answer me this. If they were so bad, how come most of them were on the air for more than two years?? Could that be because people were watching them? At least most of the game shows of the eighites were fun! Watching the reruns of these game shows brings back memories of a better time! Some people comment on Deal or no deal as being a rotten game show, however, it’s fun to be cruel and watch people gamble and lose their money!!!!

Though I agree with Scrabble ‘93 being trash, i don’t know about Yahtzee. The rules to that game is pretty weird and confusing and as to the pace of the game…. pretty off-beat and lacks a good flow and pace, that makes a game show watchable…. I watch the first episode on YouTube and it wasn’t impressive, when its just a match game rip-off with dice. What really sucks that the show was starred with Peter Marshall (a legend), and even he looked a bit uncomfortable. Besides the fact that the writer (a moron), didn’t give a good justification as to why Yahtzee was ranked #2… I hope my justification helps.

I don’t know who this idiot is who made this list, but they need to get a life instead on hating on these game shows. Where do they get off on being critical of these shows? And why is Scrabble on this list? There is nothing wrong wtih it, unless you count the ‘93 revival. Now that’s bad for you. And as for Yahtzee, I agree that it was a Match Game ripoff. But I thought it was pretty good. And I gosta say that was a great set design. By the way correction on your comment Erin. “The $1.98 Beauty Show” was hosted by Rip Taylor. To the person who put together, butt out. If we want your opinion, we’ll ask for it. You Tv version of Roger Ebert wannabe piece of crap!!!

Sale of the Century… Scrabble… the worst game shows of all time… I think this creator of this site needs to watch the shows themselves and also give concrete reasons why the show is bad other than saying its boring… What if I said that this site was boring and not saying why?

What about “The $1.98 Beauty Pagent”! This was in the earily 70’s and it was hosted by Rip Torne. I have only seen it on the Game Show Net. once in the late 90’s. It was so bad and so funny!

Some of what people here are talking about aren’t even game shows. You want bad? Check out “The Mad Dash”, “Bumper Stumpers”, or best yet “Just like Mom” where the final contest was the moms has to eat three items and guess which one was baked by their child.
