On the Today show, Meredith Vieira said that Whoopi Goldberg called to clarify her comment on The View where she said what Roman Polanski did was not “rape-rape” – a comment that Whoopi has been taking heat for ever since the words fell out of her mouth.

On The View, Whoopi Goldberg seemed to come to Roman Polanski’s defense, saying, “I know it wasn’t rape-rape. I think it was something else, but I don’t believe it was rape-rape.” Read the rest of this entry »
