No way… NBC is planning to revamp The Rockford Files, that classic private investigator 70s series starring James Garner.

Good idea… or not? Knight Rider wasn’t so great as a revamp, but maybe they can pull out The Rockford Files semi-decently. Who could they cast in the James Garner/Jim Rockford role though?

Amy Poehler will be returning to SNL! Kinda. Sorta. A little bit.

NBC plans to bring Amy Poehler back for the special Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday… and only for the September 17 and September 24 shows. Love this – a Saved by the Bell reunion of the cast pictured on People magazine. Whether or not a Saved by the Bell reunion will go down on Jimmy Fallon’s show remains to be seen, but it’s nice to see the cast gathered for this People mag pic (where’s Screech though??).
