Not like Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are in the news much for anything lately… but now comes word that the former boybander and the former MTV VJ have split. A source confirms the break up to Us Weekly, saying, “It was an amicable break-up. They walk away from it still friends…They still care about each other very much. This is what’s best for both of them.”
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have been together since 2006, when she met him on his music video shoot for “What’s Left of Me.”

In this Today show video clip, People magazine editor Kate Coyne talks about her interview with Kate Gosselin, including how the kids have reacted to the news of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s divorce announcement.
Jon and Kate told the older twins first of the divorce, before telling the sextuplets. Kate Gosselin says in the article that she feels like she’s failed, saying, “On a good day, I feel relief. On a bad day, I feel failure.”
Larry David stops by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in this June 23 video clip to talk about his new Woody Allen movie, “Whatever Works,” but they never quite get around to chatting up the film.

In case you haven’t had your fill of Jon and Kate news… Jon and Kate’s divorce papers state that the Gosselins have lived “separate and apart” for at least two years! What? Has Jon & Kate Plus 8 been a scam for the last couple of years just so they could continue to make money off of their “reality” show?

EW.com is reporting that R&B singer Eve has signed on to guest star in two episodes of Fox’s new series “Glee.” Eve will play “a no-nonsense girls’ choir director from a rival school.”
Interestingly enough, Glee’s producers had wanted Whitney Houston for the ole – but she PASSED on it! It seems like Whitney Houston could have added fuel to her comeback with a guest turn on the hottest new series, huh?

Uh-oh. Is The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck guilty of plagiarism? Author Susan Hassett is suing Elisabeth, claiming that Hasselbeck stole her book idea when she wrote and published her Celiac Disease book called “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide.”
