According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scrubs may return for a ninth season… ABC is in talks to renew the doc comedy with some or all of the original cast members retrurning part-time or full time.

Since Melissa Rycroft suffered a rib injury and could not perform on the Dancing with the Stars week 8 (April 27) show, she and partner Tony Dovolani were judged based on their dress rehearsal video. Unfortunately, Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani only received a score of 21.
