Brilliant casting alert: Scott Bakula (“Quantum Leap”) will guest star as Chuck and Ellie’s dad on NBC’s “Chuck.” Scott Bakula will make his first appearance of a multi-episode arc later this spring.

Chuck finds their estranged dad in time for Ellie’s wedding – only he’s a little less put together (and paranoid to boot) than they remember.

If you’ve been missing Lauren Graham since Gilmore Girls wrapped, here’s a bit of good news. Lauren Graham will star in an upcoming comedy pilot called “Let It Go,” on ABC.

Let It Go stars Lauren Graham as “a self-help guru who teaches women how to “let it go” but fails to follow her own advice when her perfect boyfriend dumps her.”

It seems like people with gimmicks never get through to the Hollywood round on American Idol, but the judges saw something in Nick Mitchell (aka Norman Gentle), 27, of Brookfield, Connecticut in this American Idol New York audition video clip. Nick Mitchell sang “And I Am Telling You” and “Amazing Grace.”

Jackie Tohn, 27, of Silver Lake, California has been singing since she was little; she shows off her talent in this American Idol New York audition video clip (January 29), singing “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz.

Melinda Camille, 22, from Stratford, Connecticut, was the one during the American Idol New York auditions (January 29) who said she likes to dance around naked. In this video clip, Melinda Camille sings “Feeling Good” and gets the yes through to Hollywood round.
