The Ford Flex Rally charity event launched Ford’s new crossover SUV and plenty of celebrities were on hand (including Hayden Panettiere and her short new do) to participate in a scavenger hunt.

Did you tune in Friday night for the Disney Channel original Camp Rock, starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato? 8.9 million viewers watched the Jonas Brothers rock out in Camp Rock, beating the debut of the original High School Musical in 2006.

While that sounds impressive, Camp Rock failed to best the 17.2 million viewers that tuned in for the HSM sequel, High School Musical 2.

Camp Rock is the second most watched TV movie of all time… and sadly, I checked it out to see what all the hype was about (and didn’t totally hate it).

HBO has renewed “In Treatment,” starring Gabriel Byrne and Dianne Wiest, for a second season. The half-hour psychotherapy drama shows psychoanalyst Paul Weston (Gabriel Byrne) as he treats patients – as well as his treatment by his own therapist, Gina Toll (Dianne Wiest).

The second season of “In Treatment” will move production from Los Angeles to New York and begin airing on HBO in fall 2009.

Sadly, comedic legend George Carlin passed away Sunday evening — he died yesterday after going to St. John’s Health Center complaining of chest pain. George Carlin died of heart failure – he was 71.

Brian Williams made an announcement at the end of today’s Meet the Press: Tom Brokaw will fill the seat as moderator through the November election. According to Brian Williams inthis video clip, Tom Brokaw will begin his Meet the Press hosting job next week.

While the MySpace page claims to be the “official” Jamie Lynn Spears page, it’s unclear right now if this picture is on the up and up or not.
