American Idol finalist Kristy Lee Cook made it to the next step, post-Idol - she just signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville. Her first single, 15 Minutes of Shame, will land August 11, with plans for a fall album.
This isn’t Kristy Lee Cook’s first record deal either - she was signed to Arista Nashville as a teenager, but was dropped before the recording happened.
Rosie O’Donnell is denying a rumor that she and her partner, Kelli Carpenter, have broken up. New York Post gossip columnist Cindy Adams reported the Rosie O’Donnell and Kelly Carpenter break up news this morning.
According to Rosie O’Donnell’s rep, “Rosie thinks that Cindy Adams is a lesbian but she doesn’t know it yet.”
Neal McDonough, who has appeared on “Traveler,” “Medical Investigation,” “Boomtown,” and the 2007 miniseries “Tin Man,” will be coming to Wisteria Lane as love interest to one of the Desperate Housewives.

Amy Ryan, the Oscar nominated actress who had the meaty role as Michael Scott’s love interest on last season’s finale of The Office, is set to appear again on the series this fall.

The Hollywood Reporter reports Jason Schwartzman’s role is a struggling thirtysomething writer with a drinking problem in Brooklyn who takes out an ad pretending to be a private detective after a nasty breakup with his girlfriend.
Don’t expect to see Luke Perry reprising his role as Dylan McKay on the upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 spin off - it’s not happening. According to Luke Perry, “I can’t re-imagine it currently. It’s just not something that I’ve thought about to be quite honest.”
Just because Luke Perry couldn’t imagine his character on the new 90210, doesn’t mean it will stop his former castmates Tori Spelling and Jenny Garth from making a 90210 comeback. Luke Perry is all about the warm wishes for the ladies, saying, “I wish them a lot of luck. I hope they have a lot of success with it.”
