Heath Ledger was featured on the 2007 memoriam he was the last person featured on it as he was the most recent to pass away at the time…personally i felt that the Oscars tried to be to artsy with the way this years was presented…there were way too many people who were featured that you could not read their names!!! In years past the have shown the video straight on the screen not cutting to different cameras.

By 2007 memorium I should clarify. Movie stars who died in 2007 and up to the 2008 Oscar presentation that year were shown, Heath was the last star to die just before the cut off for the presentation at the 2008 Oscars.
