Barbara Walters to Interview Don Imus

Barbara Walters has snagged the first interview with radio personality Don Imus, who was fired in April for his racist and sexist on-air remarks about the Rutgers women’s basketball team. Barbara Walters’ interview with Don Imus will air on her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2007” special on December 6th on ABC. Do his comments and subsequent scandal make him fascinating? Seems Walters could have set her sights a little higher.

“Desperate Housewives” Star Kyle MacLachlan Introduces Wine
Well, I’m not entirely sure how yummy a bottle of “Desperate Housewives” star Kyle MacLachlan’s finest wine would be, but it’s an interesting endeavor, nonetheless. Jordin Sparks Wants Tatoo of Her Brother’s Name

How weird is that? OK, OK, I know her first single is “Tatoo,” and understandably Jordin Sparks is young and wants a tattoo… but of her brother’s name? Now that’s just plain strange.
The “American Idol” winner says she wants a tattoo of her brother’s name, P.J., because she’s been missing him while she’s traveling.
“This past year has made me realize how much I took my relationship with him for granted. I’ve only been home a week and a half since the year started, and I really miss him. He knows everything about me. And, unlike a boyfriend, I know he won’t walk away.” Read the rest of this entry »
ABC Family Looking for “America’s Prom Queen”

I kid you not. ABC Family is looking for “America’s Prom Queen.”
ABC Family is set to crown prom royalty in their new reality series, “America’s Prom Queen.” Several high school girls will live in a mansion and compete in challenges that “test their prom queen mettle.” Judges, known as the Prom Committee, will represent high school stereotypes and eliminate a contestant each week. In the end, viewers will prom “America’s Next Prom Queen,” and the entire cast and their dates will attend the finale – naturally, a prom where the winner will be crowned. Expect the show in spring 2008.
