I like both concepts, and show the writers involved might actually have some good imaginations to draw from. I wasn't going to watch it, but I was constrained to the couch for that time slot and I ended up watching it anyway. It looks promising, the directing isn't half bad, but it's very contrived and the acting uneven. They took the premise-engine out of the X-files Corvette and dropped it into a brand spanking new Kia Optima - kinda OK looking but not much substance, and shoddy on close inspection. It disappointed. I wasn’t going to watch it, but I was constrained to the couch for that time slot and I ended up watching it anyway.
