“Scrubs” Season Finale May Suffer from Strike

The writers’ strike may force an early ending for the series’ finale of “Scrubs.” In what is the last season for “Scrubs,” the strike may shorten the season and leave fans of the seven-year-old comedy in limbo. Series creator Bill Lawrence doesn’t want to skip out on writing a proper finale for the show (after all, he owes the fans!) and is willing to fight ABC Studios, which produces the show, to air the finale. According to Lawrence, “I will use all my leverage to end this show properly, even if it means I have to do all the voices myself and call people up to read it over the phone.” There are still seven episodes that have not been written.
