“Oprah’s Big Give” Host, Judges Announced

Oprah Winfrey is throwing her hat into the reality television ring – with the upcoming “Oprah’s Big Give,” set to premiere Sunday, March 2.
It comes as no surprise that interior designer Nate Berkus will serve as the host of “Oprah’s Big Give.” After all, he’s been seen many times on Oprah’s daytime show and indeed has an “in” with Oprah. Plus, he’s cute. That never hurts.
“Oprah’s Big Give” features 10 contestants competing in philanthropic projects to see who is the “biggest giver.”
Nate Berkus commented on the show, saying, “Who wouldn’t want to be a part of a show whose entire premise is what you can do for other people? I think it’s fantastic.”
Taking on judging duties for “Oprah’s Big Gift” are some big givers themselves: chef Jamie Oliver, NFL star Tony Gonzalez and Malaak Compton-Rock (Chris Rock’s wife).
And, while Oprah Winfrey serves as the show’s executive producer, she’ll be making appearances throughout the run of the show.
