“Movies Rock” Event Airs Friday on CBS
Now here’s a special that has some potential – a celebration of music and movies – called “Movies Rock.” The two-hour show will air on CBS on Friday at 9 PM, but the event took place last night. And the stars were out in full force…
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony were on hand to provide a glimpse of JLo’s growing belly. Beyonce sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Fergie sang “Live and Let Die,” Usher provided his version of “Singin’ in the Rain,” Chris Brown sang an energetic version of “Jailhouse Rock” and will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas, Busta Rhymes, Eve and LL Cool J took on the theme from “Shaft.” Too cool.
Additionally, Jennifer Hudson sang “Somewhere” from “West Side Story,” Carrie Underwood took on “The Sound of Music,” and Queen Latifah belted out “Big Spender.”
