“Lipstick Jungle” Comes to NBC in February

If you’ve been missing “Sex and the City” on your TV, then maybe “Lipstick Jungle,” based on the best-selling Candace Bushnell novel, will fill the void when it airs on NBC in February. Bushnell also wrote “Sex and the City,” and while it can’t all be like “Sex,” there are some similarities.
“Lipstick Jungle,” which premieres on February 7th at 10 PM, stars Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price as friends at different stages of their careers and relationships.
Raver plays Nico, the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, who has aspirations of becoming a CEO. Shields plays Nico, a movie exec who is working on that delicate career/family balance. Price plays Victory, a designer who’s looking for that perfect guy.
So, maybe you’ve got the “Sex” part… and it takes place in New York City, so you’ve got the “City.” Should be worth a look, anyway.
