Mark Ballas, who suffered a shoulder injury during his finale performance with partner/girlfriend Sabrina Bryan on “Dancing with the Stars,” had surgery Wednesday. While he can’t rehearse for the upcoming “Dancing with the Stars” tour, he has been able to watch rehearsal, saying, ” I am feeling pretty okay to watch and be around and keep my eyes on things. I have to go to the doctor’s next Tuesday, so I am just going to watch for the next couple of days. But every four hours I have to take it out of the sling [and exercise it].”

And Mark Ballas’ girlfriend, Sabrina Bryan has been by his side to help out. According to Ballas, “She has been there every step of the way. She has come to all my appointments, and she dropped me at the hospital for my surgery.”

In the event that Mark Ballas’ shoulder injury surgery is not healed enough by the start of the “Dancing with the Stars” tour (which kicks off December 18), Derek Hough will take over. Though Ballas warns, “He just needs to take care of her and not be too rough with her.”
